Meet Dr. Peter Goh, Senior Medical Advisor at Hemostatics
Dr. Peter Goh is a globally recognized surgeon and medical innovator with more than four decades of experience spanning academic medicine, clinical surgery, and medical entrepreneurship. Renowned for his pioneering work in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Dr. Goh has performed several landmark procedures, including the world’s first laparoscopic Billroth II gastrectomy and Asia’s first fully robotic laparoscopic cholecystectomy. His groundbreaking contributions have helped redefine surgical standards and advanced the global adoption of innovative techniques.
A top graduate of the National University of Singapore, Dr. Goh received numerous gold and silver medals for academic excellence. He went on to complete advanced surgical training at Harvard Medical School, where he served as both a Clinical and Research Fellow in Surgery.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Goh has held senior academic and clinical roles at leading institutions such as National University Hospital in Singapore, Monash University in Australia, and various hospitals across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He has served as professor, department chair, and director of surgical and endoscopy centers, playing a key role in the establishment and growth of surgical programs worldwide.
